Postpartum Package

As your postpartum doula I am there not only to support the baby, but the mother and the family as a whole. Adjusting to life with a newborn can be filled with ups and downs and together we will navigate through that. Postpartum support ranges from grocery runs and restocking your pantry to late nights with baby so you can get some rest. My offerings here are extremely flexible and truly depend on each families unique needs.

What you’ll get

  • 2 prenatal visits (one to set up a schedule and plan, another for nursery flow and preparing your home for a newborn)

  • 30 hours of postpartum care based on your families needs. Hours can be adjusted and customized packages are available upon request.

  • Emotional support through offering a safe space for mothers to express how they are feeling, recognizing early signs of baby blues, and birth story processing

  • Physical support through breastfeeding assistance, newborn care (bottles, diapers, etc.), and light housework or meal preparation

  • Sibling support to help them adjust to life with a new baby and light pet support if needed (walks, feeding, etc.)

  • Continued advocacy during the postpartum period during any follow up appointments like baby’s first pediatrician appointment or your six week check up

Green Bottle Sliding Scale

I use the green bottle sliding scale framework to price my packages equitably. Thank you to Alexis J. Cunningfolk for developing the green bottle method.

"For a sliding scale to work it relies on the principles of truthfulness, respect for complexity, and accountability. I do not ask for income verification. I trust my students and clients to be honest. Community thrives when accountability is a central value, because that is where trust grows and depth work can be done. Teachers deserve to get paid and students deserve classes which recognize the multiple realities of economic access and privilege that exist." - AJC
